Aftercare
Some animals may be sleepy following treatment.
All animals should have their activity restricted for one or two days after treatment to allow their bodies to become accustomed to the changes that have occurred.
Muscle soreness occurs occasionally for a few days following treatment. This is not a cause for alarm. It is less pronounced after follow up sessions. Low level exercise, plenty of drinking water, and gentle massage may help ease the soreness.
Timing of treatments varies depending on the condition being treated, and the severity of the problem. Weekly sessions for two or three weeks is a common schedule. Animals with chronic conditions will often need periodic treatments for maintenance.
